Explaining Cancer To Your Young Child

Listen via iTunes or Spotify

# 009 - Author Angus Olsen found himself lost in the world of pediatric cancer. Thrust into the caretaker position due to unusual circumstances; he had to adapt quickly. In his new job as a caretaker, Angus used doodles and art to help his young daughter and himself understand the world around them. Today, he uses his talents as an artist to help others that are in his shoes. He has authored several children's books used throughout many hospitals. I hope you will learn from his story and understand why explaining cancer using his strategy can be helpful for younger children.
