Surviving During the Chaos of Cancer: A Discussion with Author Tara Geraghty

Listen via iTunes or Spotify

#008 - Talented Author Tara Geraghty and public speaker explains the insights within her book, Making Cancer Fun: A Parent's Guide. Tara provides us with her story, her daughter's battle with neuroblastoma, and how she 'dealt' with it. She turned her coping technique into a prevalent book amongst the pediatric caregiving oncology community. I hope you can learn that while not everyone copes the same way, you need to choose your path. Celebrating milestones is one of many means to make kids with cancer emotionally comfortable during treatment, and I highly suggest you give this book a shot.

Join me as I interview her, and we examine what 'fun' means. She is a delight to listen to and has so much support to offer for parents and caregivers. I think you will enjoy hearing her approach and maybe make it your own.
